Ben Ferrer is a director of photography for documentaries, local commercials and corporate communication videos. His credits include the documentary feature Crime After Crime, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and received numerous awards at film festivals throughout the country.

Before moving to San Francisco, CA in 1996 to continue his freelance career, he interned at KCRA-TV Sacramento in the news editing department and the commercial production division. Ben studied photography at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton and earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento.

Ben also teaches lighting courses at The Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) in San Francisco and DeAnza College in Cupertino, CA.
